Hello,

Great news. A few friends of mine and myself are currently looking into xulrunner to build applications, and this new release is a great news for our team.
It's perhaps not the right place to ask, but do you know something about python in xulrunner ? We can't find any news about this that are newer than 1 year.

Again, we are happy to see xulrunner 1.9.2 released, we really believe that xulrunner offers a great platform for desktop applications.

@daniel : there is a python support in xulrunner since many years (Activestate uses it for Komodo). But it is not activated by default, and it won't be in the future. @laurentj, @daniel: python xpcom has been removed in xulrunner 1.9.2.
1.9.1 is the last version that had it.
It is now supposed to be distributed independently.

@glandium, @laurentj: Thanks for the info. We will probably work with xulrunner which seems to fit our needs at best (still under discuss).
We are very excited by the possibilities that it offers.
